5th Annual NWS Upper Great Lakes Golf Outing
Indianhead Golf Course near Wausau, WI
Thurs, Fri.  Sept. 13-14, 2007

The 12 hardy golfers attending the 5th annual NWS Upper Great Lakes Golf Outing in Mosinee, WI had to fight the weather.  Play during the Thursday Scramble at Indianhead Golf Course was halted after 15 holes due to showers and lightning in the area.  The lightning did not let up after a wait of about 1 hour so no attempt was made to finish the 18hole event.   Scores were based on 15 holes of play.

On Friday, cold and windy weather greeted the golfers...and some scattered light showers developed as the day went on...but all holes were completed.

This year's golfers included 3 CO-OP weather observers-Josh Herman, Bob and Kathy Teska, retired NWS meteorologist Pat Johnson from Sacramento, CA, and NWS contractor Randy Cryer from Seattle, WA.  Thanks to all who participated.  Lodging arrangements were at the Comfort Inn-Wausau, WI. All the results are below.
