| A team comprised of
Washington State Government employees and retirees shot a tournament
record 15-under par 57 at Ft Lewis Golf Course just south of Tacoma,
Washington. The team had two eagles and 11 birdies to break the
old tournament record of 61, 11-under set in 2001. The second place team of current and retired Washington State Dept of Transportation staff actually tied the previous tournament record of 61. Third place had a three-way tie at 6-under 66 with a team of current and retired NWS Seattle staff breaking the tie using the score card starting with scores at the first hole. Ten teams played this year and all shot final scores under par of 72.
