2007 NWS Golf Association/Central Region Golf Results

Thirty six golfers and guests from 12 states participated in the 22nd annual NWSGA/Central Region golf outing held June 18-22 at Christmas Mountain Golf Course in Wisconsin Dells, WI.  The golfers had to play through some light rain for a few holes on Monday but the weather was pleasant and rain-free Tuesday through Friday.

The lodging and hospitality arrangements were at the nearby Best Western-Ambassador Inn.  Of the 36 golfers and guests, 2 of them were participating for the first time including a volunteer CO-OP weather observer.

Nine golfers enjoyed a golf side trip to nearby Northern Bay “replica” golf course on Wednesday afternoon…and about 17 golfers enjoyed a relaxing 2 hour Upper Dells boat tour Thursday evening.

Part of the entry fees for the Tuesday and Wednesday Scrambles were targeted as a donation for the Red Cross for disaster relief.  At the Friday afternoon awards luncheon, Brian Hahn presented Pam Oxman of the Columbia County American Red Cross Chapter a check in the amount of $500.00.  Many of the golfers donated prizes.  Thanks!   All the results are below:
