Thurs, Fri.  Sept. 4-5, 2008

RESULTS!!

Eight golfers participated in the 6th Annual National Weather Service Upper Great Lakes Golf Outing held Sept. 4-5 at Indianhead Golf Course in Mosinee, WI with overnight lodging and hospitality arrangements at Comfort Inn-Wausau, WI.   Seven NWS active and retired golfers were joined by Bob Teska - CO-OP weather observer to participate in the Thursday Scramble and Friday Individual Golf.

The Thursday golf was held under cloudy skies and some occasional very light sprinkles...which was the northern edge of the rain from the weather system that at one time was Hurricane Gustav.  Friday's golf started out cool and cloudy but the clouds clearing line soon came in from the northwest and the rest of the day was mild and mostly sunny.
